The drinks have stopped flowing, or you finally got through that dream trip to Disney with the family. Either way, vacation has to end sometime. Some of us never want it to end, but others are ready for it to be over and done with. What's the best thing about coming home from vacation? Even if you don't want to.
These are some of the best reasons you come home from vacation. We've all been on that dream vacation, and here's why it's nice to come home.
5) Your Own Bed.
I don't care how nice the bed at the hotel was, nothing beats coming home to your own bed. It's like hugging a friend you haven't seen in a while. It holds you, it loves you, and it doesn't come with the fear of bed bugs. (well, that still depends on you.)
4) Your own bathroom
No shared stalls, dirty bathrooms (again depends on you) No resort shared shampoo, soaps and more. It's finally your stuff, when you want it.
3) Seeing The Dogs
They'll pee on the floor the minute you walk in the door, and the speed of the tail might wreck buildings. But there is nothing better than seeing your furr-babies after vacation.
2) Your Routine Is Finally Back
You know where "Your" snacks are, phone/device chargers are where you left them, and your shower pressure is what you missed most. Plus after a week of asking "What's the WIFI password?" again? You'll have all your ducks in a row.
1) Favorite Local Food
Your favorite local food is where you left it. Home. You can finally have "Your pizza" or "Your Spot", they'll be there when you get home (fingers crossed) so you can start giving your people your money.
So now that vacation is over and real live is kicking back in. Start going to those spam emails, unpack for a week (I won't judge) and remember. Coming home is a whole vibe. Love your normal, the fuzzies, and the food of home.
