A 15-year-old British kid’s vacation took an unexpected turn after he got on the wrong flight!!! I've always wondered what would happen if this went down in real life. Now we found out.
He was flying to London's Stansted Airport, he got separated from his family in the departures area and ended up on a plan to Milan, Italy. Now, don't get me wrong, Italy is nice....but with no ticket, and no way to get back home, that crap can be scary for a kid/teen.
Cameras captured footage of the teen slipping onto the Milan-bound flight. Although the airport’s missing-child alert was activated, it was later called off once the boy’s whereabouts were confirmed.
Airline staff found the kid upon landing in Milan, local authorities and EasyJet personnel met the teen.
The airline said it kept in contact with the family to provide support, and the teen’s mother was flown to Italy to reunite with him.
So is there a new "Home Alone" movie coming? Maybe this is why some people at the airport keep their kids on leashes? Maybe the kid just wanted to grab a slice on his way home? Either way, watch yo kids at the airport.
