Growing up where I did was scary enough. But as a kid, my brother and sister and I thought how cool it would be to have our own haunted house in the ghetto. But where do you start? As a kid with no money, it was a lot harder than we thought. I mean we couldn't make props, and if you wanted a skeleton or a body part you would just go to the police taped off area around the corner....Ok, it wasn't that bad. All the time.
So what do you do? You want to make your own haunted house to scare neighborhood families, or even hide your real bodies. But where do you start.
Step 1 always feels like it's money. But besides that?
Here are the steps to create your own haunted house at home. You can make it as scary, or family friendly as you want. But you might want to start soon. It's a lot of work and Halloween is next week.
