Most jobs come with perks. You know, the stuff you get for free. Like you think I have every concert ticket out there. Not the case. But I do get some, so that makes the low pay worth it lol. But what about other jobs?
I had a friend work for Southwest Airlines and her and her husband went everywhere. So that's pretty amazing. Something I could really use.
But if you already get free flights, what else do you think you need? I mean hotel as well would be nice, and spending cash. But the air is a lot and helps a ton.
But there are people that get greedy. Like Dallas Pokornik of Toronto. He faked his way onto flights for about 2 years after ending his time flying the friendly skies by acting like a pilot.
He worked for a Toronto airline from 2017 to 2019, then used fake employee identification to get tickets on three U.S. carriers based in Honolulu, Chicago and Fort Worth, Texas over the next few years.
Great scam right?
Well, till Pokornik was arrested in Panama after being indicted last October and pleaded not guilty Tuesday following extradition.
I guess nothing really is for free, and people will get away at any means necessary. But faking being a pilot? That's nuts....and sometimes gram crackers if you fly early enough.
