If you could...and I know I have a few, would you relive a memory of your life? Mine would be more time with my dad. I have a memory of going to a bar with my pops and family on a visit, and my buddy Bob was the guitar player. My dad told me to go play when Bob took a break. I said "that's a big no no dad." But I did it anyway. There is a pic of me playing guitar, and my dad sat at the bar and listened. I played Simple Plan's "Perfect" because looking back now that he's gone I just wanted to be "Perfect" for him. I wanted to show him I could do what I set out to do. I'm doing it still to this day. I would relive that bar moment with my dad over and over again, and I'll probably practice a lot more.
So I told you mine, now what about you? Is there a memory or moment you would live over and over again?
The top moments adults would freeze in time(according to a survey), was holding their child for the first time ranking number one. This was also a big one for me. My daughter was born a little early and it was an emergency surgery to get her out. I almost lost both of my girls that day. But let's focus on the happy stuff. We held our baby, we cried and that moment always comes back in waves.
Other things that made the list, family gatherings, unforgettable holidays, and wedding days. Childhood Christmas mornings, getting first home keys, and long summer days just to name a few. The research found that 26% would like to bottle up their current special experiences for later. (Read more HERE)
So do you have a moment? One you would want to relive forever? Maybe it was getting (and sometimes losing) the job you always wanted, kids, you name it.
This is why I wish Time Travel was real.
