Coachella 2026 is going on this weekend and next weekend. You either didn't have the outfit for the occasion or you just didn't want to travel to see people like Sabrina Carpenter, Nine Inch Nails, Turnstile, Bieber and more. See the full line up HERE
Well in the past they have had YouTube channels for a few stages you could watch in the comfort of your home. Some call this Couch-ella, and there's even merch for it. So what's new to see this year besides the fashion and the fun?
Coachella 2026 will livestream all seven festival stages simultaneously for the first time!! Last year when my daughter and I watched we did this and loved it, but did have bad FOMO because of only a few feeds, but this year that is all taken care of with three main stages offering 4K resolution viewing!
The Coachella Stage, Outdoor Theatre, and Sahara will broadcast in ultra-high definition, while the Quasar stage provides both horizontal and vertical viewing options.
Festival-goers can watch up to four performances at once using a multi-view grid format. Kind of like your Sunday Ticket for the NFL or Sports package. So you highlight the window you want to hear the audio/video from and watch away. I think this will making the streaming version WAY more user friendly and plan to take advantage of the whole experience both weekends.
Coverage begins daily at 7:00 p.m. ET on Coachella's YouTube channel and livestream app.
Oh, something else that's new. Between live sets, archival footage from previous festivals will air! So if you missed Billie Eilish and Charlie XCX last year because it was so late. You can catch it on the stream.
Daily performance schedules are typically announced each morning, with most sets expected to stream.
So get yourself the snacks you want, turn up the tv and have a party this weekend. You'll know where to find me! Couch-ella
